Hei my dear friend,
What do a turkey neck, homemade face masks, and a tough harvest all have in common? They’ve all been on my mind this week 😉
Because this week has been full of contrasts:
🌾 Fields being threshed on the farm, that left me both proud and exhausted
🪻 My own skin begging me for Rosehip & Lavender, harvested in the garden
💌 And some incredible stories from women just like you who are finding resilience in their skin again
I’ll share the stories with you in a moment 🥰 and I promise, one of them will make you smile, one might surprise you, and one will (hopefully!) inspire you to try something new for your skin.
What this year’s grain harvest taught me about resilience
And while I’ve been floating on clouds after reading your feedback from my last letter, something else exciting happened here on our little farm:
the grain harvest has begun! 🌾
The fields are now threshed, and we delivered our crop to the local mill this week.

Even though our farm is small, and our contribution modest, I feel proud knowing we’re supporting our country’s food security with local ingredients, especially in these uncertain times. Farmers everywhere work so hard, often for too little, to make sure you and I have safe, nourishing food.
👩🌾 Do you support your local farmers by choosing locally farmed foods?
This year has been challenging though. A cold, wet spring followed by a summer heatwave was tough on the crops in our region. The efforts and investments made are the same, but this year harvest became a sad affair.
With a bit of luck, we’ll just about break even, and we’ll keep looking ahead with hope for a better harvest next year. You can’t worry about the things that is out of your control, just keep your head up and try again. That is true resilience in life💛

This week, I turned to my garden (and care for my skin) for comfort
Because, let’s be real: no farmer, no matter how stubborn, can control the weather gods. On the heavy days, I find it extra important to care for myself a little more, smoothing away some of those worry-lines, too 😉
In addition to the homemade recipe I will give further down in this letter, I truly love a home spa day, turning on some relaxing music, peeling my skin with the Ultra Cleanse & Revive Face Scrub and nourish it afterwards with the Anti-Age & Insane Glow Day Balm or the Magic Wrinkle Eraser Night Balm, depending on the time of day. No duties in sight, only self care 😌
As mentioned, I harvested Rosehip & Lavender from the garden this week, two of the super-ingredients we use in Frøya products ❤️💜
And not by coincidence.

Together, they make such a powerful team for your skin:
❤️ Rosehip builds, repairs & gives glow
✨ Omega-3 & -6 strengthen the skin barrier, reduce dryness
✨ Vitamin A (retinol-like) + C boost collagen, smooth fine lines, improve elasticity
✨ Antioxidants brighten skin tone and help with pigmentation
✨ In an 8-week study, healthy women using Rosehip saw wrinkles fade by 22%, scars smooth out, and even healthier blood cells
✨ Perfect for dry, mature or sun-damaged skin
💜 Lavender soothes, protects & balances
✨ Calms redness, irritation and sensitive skin
✨ Naturally antibacterial – great for breakouts or small cuts
✨ Aromatherapeutic scent reduces stress (and stress = skin imbalance)
✨ Supports skin’s healing process
✨ Balances oil production, both for dry and acne-prone skin

🤔 So let me ask you: if your skin could talk right now... what would it say it needs most: resilience, calm, or glow?

For me this week, it was all three!
So of course, a homemade Rosehip & Lavender face mask was exactly what
I needed.
You can see the video here, & at the bottom of this email I’ve included the full recipe and instructions for you too do it at home 😉

I called one of our top customers: Brenda💛
Another highlight of my week...
📞 I got to speak directly with one of our wonderful customers, Brenda, over the phone! Across time zones, from Norway to the US, she shared her incredible story and her love for Frøya. It truly made my day. You can take a look at her story here 👇

And before I wrap up, let me leave you with three more wonderful messages that warmed my Frøya-heart this week:

Once again, thank you for being here on this journey with me. I love reading your replies - your stories, your tips, your feedback – and how you’re living with Frøya as part of your life 💖
