🌿 Now… back to the farm (and this week’s stories)

If November were a movie, this week would’ve been the plot twist.
Between frost-covered mornings, a shocking news story about toxic jewelry, and a live event that somehow became both a skincare gathering and a moment of connection - it’s been a week.
Add a simmering pot of bone broth and a brand-new Frøya product that’s unlike anything we’ve ever made before into the mix, and you’ve got the full Norwegian wellness thriller 😅Grab your blanket, light a candle, and settle in - this one’s got range 💫🎥 Live + Black Friday Magic

First, thank you to everyone who joined our Black Friday Launch Live this Thursday!
This time, the Wi-Fi spirits behaved and no one accidentally disappeared mid-sentence - which felt like a small miracle 😅
Because let’s be honest - they definitely didn’t behave last time.
For those of you who joined our previous live (and were kind enough to show up again!), you probably remember that the internet connection in Argentina had a mind of its own.
I somehow managed to perform a full robot dance through the entire stream - frozen frame by frame - while my poor colleagues sprinted around me, frantically trying to find a signal that didn’t vanish every three seconds 🕺📡
So the fact that everything actually worked this time? I’ll happily take the win.
And I’m still glowing from all your questions, kindness, and laughter 💛If you missed it - no worries!
You can still discover this year’s
Black Friday deals here 👇

And don’t worry, this won’t be our last live, I loved connecting with you all like that.
Everyone who joined received a free gift and a chance to win free skincare, so trust me… you won’t want to miss the next one! 💛
We also shared the launch of Frøya’s new Magic Sensual Pleasure Balm, together with the wonderful Andrea Trotter-Knoche, host of the podcast Menopause Love Lounge.Andrea couldn’t have been a more perfect guest - her openness and insight set the tone for such a meaningful conversation about women’s health, confidence, and closeness.
So, if you haven’t seen
it yet, meet the new

💍 Health Tip of the Week: Check Your Jewelry

I’ve always loved earrings, but I’ll admit, I’ve had my fair share of sore earlobes over the years 😅
You know that little sting or irritation you get from «fun» earrings that aren’t real gold or silver?
I always thought it was just me being sensitive - until I started looking into it.
Turns out, it’s incredibly common.
Many inexpensive jewelry pieces, especially those sold through unverified online shops, can contain toxic metals like nickel, lead, or cadmium.
Turns out, it’s incredibly common.
Many inexpensive jewelry pieces, especially those sold through unverified online shops, can contain toxic metals like nickel, lead, or cadmium.
Even tiny traces can build up over time and affect both your skin and your hormones.
It’s a good reminder that what touches our skin matters, not just skincare, but jewelry too. 🌿 A few simple tips:

  • Choose gold, silver, stainless steel,
    or titanium. They’re skin-friendly and long-lasting.
  • Avoid jewelry that’s too cheap to be true or doesn’t specify materials.
  • Buy from trusted makers or brands that disclose what their jewelry is made of.

It’s a powerful reminder that what touches our skin matters. The skin isn’t just a barrier - it’s alive, porous, and receptive.
That’s why we at Frøya work so uncompromisingly with purity.
No shortcuts. No hidden toxins.
Just nature - the way nature intended.

Do you also react to certain metals or earrings?
👉 Hit reply and tell me, I’d love to hear what works (and what doesn’t) for you 💛

🧊 Life on the Frozen Farm

Here at my little farm, right on the edge of the Arctic Circle, the landscape is transforming daily now.
Morning frost paints everything silver, the fog rolls across the fields, and the daylight slips away earlier and earlier.By December 21, we’ll be down to just 4½ hours of light a day.
And further north, the polar night has already begun - no direct sunlight at all, just a soft, magical blue glow at midday. We’ve swapped summer dresses for wool layers and lit candles in every window.
The fields are quiet, the last wildflowers have bowed out, and the air smells like woodsmoke and cold earth.
It’s beautiful - and a little wild.
This week, we also celebrated my mom’s birthday - quietly, the way she prefers it.
She’s not one for fuss or attention, but the family insisted on marking the day. I brought her a little gift from Argentina - the softest yarn I could find on my trip.Happy birthday, mom💕

How is this season treating you?
Do you also feel like time slows down a little - or are you just trying to remember where you left your wool socks again? 🤭

🍵 Why We Drink Broth

When days grow short and the body works harder to stay warm, bone broth becomes one of the simplest, most nourishing rituals.
We use slow-cooked broth made from organic, free-range Norwegian chicken - simmered for up to 24 hours with apple-cider vinegar and herbs.
The result is liquid gold: rich in collagen, gelatin, minerals, and amino acids that support skin, joints, gut, and immunity.

PSST! Talking of joints: Did you know that we have our very own Joint & Muscle Healing Balm? It’s not just sustainable, it’s smart:
most of the really good stuff is actually hidden in the parts of the animals we tend to throw away.
And trust me, I’m far from perfect at this myself - so consider this a gentle reminder (and friendly nudge) to me too.
Unlike most store-bought bouillon cubes or ready-made broths, which are full of additives and flavor enhancers my IBS-stomach doesn’t exactly thank me for, real broth is as simple as it gets:
just bones, water, herbs and time.
We buy ours from a local farm (support your farmers! 🤍), but if you’d like to try making it yourself, you’ll find a simple recipe we use at the end of this letter!
Do you drink bone broth? I’d love to hear if you notice a difference in your skin or energy.

✨ Before You Go

😅 Not quite my vibe this week

With love - and warm broth wishes -
Line 💛
The heart of Frøya You’ll need:

  • Bones or carcass from 1 organic chicken (feet included if you can get them - they add extra collagen)
  • 1–2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1–2 bay leaves
  • Cold water, enough to cover everything

How to make it:

  1. Place all ingredients in a large pot.
  2. Pour in enough cold water to cover the bones completely.
  3. Let it sit for 20–30 minutes before turning on the heat — this helps the vinegar draw out minerals from the bones.
  4. Bring slowly to a gentle boil, skim off any foam that rises to the top, then reduce to a low simmer.
  5. Let it cook gently for 8–24 hours (the longer, the richer the flavor).
  6. Strain the broth and pour into jars or containers.
  7. Store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days, or freeze for later use.

💛 Sip a warm cup daily as a nourishing tonic for skin, gut, and soul - especially during the colder months.
