Wow, when you say potent you are not kidding . Okay so I used too much the 1st time and all the fluids pushed up into my upper eyelid. I actually looked like someone gave me a black eye. All I can say is weirdly disappointed. I ordered the 'hyper potent eye bag' ointment which was rather expensive and this arrived in the mail. I'm not sure if they missed some ingredients or the batch was bad ?? But definitely not what was expected or what was paid for. I have sent an email to Froya regarding this. I had previously used the face ointment which was fine and I liked using every couple of days - it gave a nice glow - so I thought I'd try this one to use around the eyes but it has been a huge disappointment and to be honest it looks gross that I don't even want to try it or put it near my face/eyes.
BUYER BEWARE- I ordered this eczema balm and was shocked to discover that the website listed almond oil only by its scientific name rather than plainly identifying it as almond oil. As someone with an almond allergy, that is a serious safety concern.
Fortunately, when the product arrived, I carefully checked the ingredients label on the packaging and saw that it clearly listed almond oil. Because of that, I avoided what could have been a dangerous allergic reaction.
After contacting customer service, Froya agreed to cancel my subscription and provide a return label, but this has been a completely unnecessary hassle. The company should be transparent and upfront about ingredients on its website, especially common allergens.
If a key ingredient like almond oil is not clearly disclosed in plain language online, it makes me wonder what else is not being communicated clearly. Trust is essential when purchasing products that are applied to the skin, and this experience has left me with little confidence in the company.
